In general, Hu Tao prefers weapons capable of drastically increasing his damage in his build. THE Homa's Staff is therefore the perfect polearm, but can be difficult to pick up. It is then possible to replace it with a spear with similar effects but less powerful, such as the Scion of Victory or the white tassel. Other options are also possible, such as the Dragon Spear to play around Hu Tao's skills. There black tassel also places itself in this perspective with its life bonus.

Paramita Papilio > Secret Spear of Wangsheng > Divine Appeasement

Hu Tao benefits from very powerful skills that compensate for his low natural damage by drawing on his vitality. Once level 6 has been reached for each of them, however, it is time to make choices. While it may be tempting to promote an increase in Wangsheng's Secret Spear, Papilio Paramita is a much better skill to focus on. It allows the undertaker to strengthen its attack while infusing it with the Pyro element. Finally comes thedivine appeasement, whose base damage and healing are very high.

How to play Hu Tao?

Hu Tao's goal in Genshin Impact with his DPS build is to offer colossal damage, while taking advantage of his vitality to survive and increase his damage. She therefore regularly uses her Papilio Paramita in order to dominate his opponents on the battlefields. If she comes close to death, her friends the ghosts offer her a divine appeasement to balance it all out. It is therefore difficult to overcome this character.

If Hu Tao's base damage does not make her the most powerful DPS naturally, she easily benefits from the bonus life amassed. His skill set complements each other perfectly, taking advantage of all his specificities, making the Pyro character very effective in many situations.
