FIFA 22, Date and FUT Versus Fire and Freeze Player List

Discover the new event of the FUT season with FUT Versus, a new name for FUT Freeze and FUTMAS, of which we already know the release date and the list of players for FIFA 22. This is the first time that this promo is present on FUT, the latter more or less replaces FUT Freeze which appeared last year on FIFA 21. FUT Freeze already replaced the FUTMAS promo, which is nevertheless well loved by FIFA players. Versus concerns daily DCEs related to the end of the year celebrations, with many special cards, often from players who have not received IF cards since the start of the season, with position changes or gesture improvements technical or weak foot. How FUT Versus Special Cards Work

If last year, FUT Freeze was generally reduced to job changes, this year it seems that EA has decided to change things up a bit with Versus. Thus, according to the leaks that we have, the special cards (pack, objectives and DCE) would have two versions: the players could thus choose between a boost in technical gestures or weak foot in one case, or on the change of position in the other. So we have Freeze (in homage to the FUT Freeze promo) and Fire cards, players will have to make choices between the versions.

FUT Versus Card List

Unlike other promos, the Versus event will have a single team (without mini-release) but with two different versions. Thus, the Fire team will be available from Friday to Monday evening and the Ice team will be lootable from Monday to Friday evening.

Versus cards will be available in packs for 3 days, before the arrival of Team 1 (Ice) on Monday, December 13 at 19 p.m.

This leak seems more than believable given the source, but the fact that the team leaked so soon could cause EA to change its plans, as was the case previously at this time in years past.

FUT Versus Event Date

Normally this promo event should last a single week from Friday December 10 at 19 p.m. to Friday December 17 at 19 p.m. Unlike usual, no mini-release will be published during the weekend but two versions of the same team will be published.
