We will therefore only select Meta cards, the strongest according to the current patch and the most effective way to play to win.

The best Meta team in Ligue 1 on FIFA 23
Note that the formation used here is only used to evoke more or less the role of each card in your team. Use your usual in-game tactics. This team is created via Futbin's team builder.
In terms of styles:
- Architect: Renato (Pillar or Shadow are playable)
- Hunter: Messi, Ginola (or Engine), Neymar (or Eye of the Lynx)
- Gunner: Mbappé
- Pilier: Fofana, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Frankowski
- Shadow: Kimpembe
- Basic: Donnarumma
Possible replacements:
In attack, the Mbappé, Neymar, Messi and Ginola quartet will be hard to beat but Ligue 1 has quite a few options (in addition to Gold or POTM versions of Messi and Neymar) like Ben Yedder TOTW, Govou FUT Heroes, Papin FUT Heroes, Suarez Dynamic Duo, Terrier RTTK or even David TOTW. Note that on the wings, pure MG and LG are limited. In addition to the names listed above, Moses RTTK and Pelé FUT Heroes (plus a MOC) are worth considering.
The MOC position could be occupied by the FUT Heroes Pelé and Govou, Faivre Rulebreakers, Savanier TOTW or even Verratti cards which could be playable temporarily. In MC and MDC, Ligue 1 is extremely weak since apart from Renato and Fofana, only Tolisso and Verratti will be playable (and still).
In defense, the French championship benefits from some interesting options in DC with Mbemba Duo Dynamique, Danso TOTW, Ramos, Mukiele and Djalo. The situation is more difficult on the wings with Mendes in LB and Traoré TOTW in DD as the only viable options at the moment.
As a goalkeeper, Navas, Lopes, Schmeichel and Lafont will be usable, especially as special cards will probably be added to the list soon.
Strengths and Weaknesses of League 1 Meta level
For once, the advantage of Ligue 1 lies in ultra Meta cards from PSG as well as FUT Heroes like Ginola and Pelé. In addition, a few less Meta but playable players are present at relatively low prices, allowing the championship to be a first point to start on FUT.
However, the main problem of the French league is precisely this gap between training as a starter team and an ultra Meta team. The cost to advance your club is very high and the options are few. Therefore, it is not uncommon for a formation above 300k, you are forced to make a hybrid club.
Therefore, Ligue 1 is an ideal league to start before necessarily having to switch to other horizons. It's also a good league for those with a huge budget since some of the best maps in the game can be found in the French league.
How to build good links?
Here, PSG is necessarily the first point to remember, but Ligue 1 also has some major nations with France, Brazil and Portugal well present. Conversely, players with less Meta will be more difficult to link. However, the FUT Heroes are quite good, making it easier to link.
