Here, the idea is to give you one or more examples for a formation made up only of players from the English league in order to evolve as much as possible. high level, or at least close to the elite division. As a reminder, the Meta concerns the strongest cards according to the current patch and the most effective way to play to win.
Note that this training will be updated according to the patches and also the arrival of new cards. It is an ultimate training in the sense that we are not limited in credits. However, we will not use Icon cards and if possible no cards from DCE.

The best Meta team in the Premier League
Note that the formation used here is only used to evoke more or less the role of each card in your team. Use your usual in-game tactics. This team is created via Futbin's team builder.

Important: We didn't use cards from DCEs and objectives since these are impossible to get once passed. Several options are possible to replace our players, we will discuss them below. Also, we opted to use TOTY cards for this training, but a second proposal without TOTY is listed below.
Alternative without TOTY
Note that here, we have also opted for other alternatives on non-TOTY cards.
In front, we have several options depending on your style of play and your budget. On the other hand, first important point, CR7 is not necessarily a card that will suit everyone. If in the TOTY and FUT Birthday version, the multiple gold balloons are incredible, its other cards (Gold, TOTW, TOTGS) are not very effective for some players. Conversely, Salah (all its versions) is playable in BU/MOC/AD. On the other hand, the real BU options are limited in the Premier League since really, Gabriel Jesus Versus, Martial WW, Daka Futures Stars and Aubameyang Moments (DCE) are Meta options. As a cheaper alternative, we keep recommending Keane Fut Heroes, a very complete and enjoyable card to play. This is also (see below) the problem of the BPL: the lack of viable and inexpensive options. Another alternative is Pedro Futures Stars, although again the price is much higher than in other leagues given the level of the card. On the wings, Sancho FUT Birthday, Mahrez RTTF, Son RTTF/TOTW, Luis Diaz Vedettes, Mané TOTW 2, Sterling POTM (DCE) or WW are great Meta options.
When it comes to midfield, the Premier League is also extremely well endowed at top level but suffers from cheap alternatives. Thus, instead of the TOTYs, there are several versions for Kanté, Bruno and KDB. Defensively, options are limited outside of Rice FUT Birthday (DCE), Fred RTTK, Etebo WW (DCE) and Onyeka RB. Offensively, however, Odegaard Fut Birthday, Foden (TOTY MH and RB), Smith-Rowe Futures Stars, Moura WW, Havertz RTTF, Mané TOTW 1 and Bernardo Silva RTTK (DCE) are excellent options while Benrahma Vedettes (DCE) is one of the few cheap alternatives. In box to box, the situation is similar. We find Pogba WW then cards from DCE as alternatives to the players listed above: Keita and Kovacic Showdown or Gundogan Moments.
Defensively speaking, the Premier League is the best endowed of all the leagues due to the presence of two TOTYs but also two TOTY MHs completing the set. On top of that, each position has at least two meta alternatives, making the BPL the most comprehensive league of the big five leagues. Thus, in DC, in addition to the players used in our two formations (and their special versions), we find the incredible Varane Flashback (DCE), Konaté FS, Sanchez FUT Birthday, Gomez Versus, Tuanzebe and Soyuncu WW, Tomiyasu Futures Stars. In addition, the league allows itself to have two viable and free options via Sarr Objectifs and Chalobah Futures Stars. On the right, in addition to James Vedettes and Walker, TAA and Cancelo offer several playable versions. Also, Semedo WW, Tomiyasu FS, and Fredericks FUT Birthday (DCE) are noted while Manquillo (Goals) is a free alternative. On the left, Robertson RTTK is one of the very best DGs in the game apart from Cancelo TOTY. Such RTTF, Tierney WW, Cornet RB and Reguilon Adidas allow good links and its absolutely Meta. Again, Shaw TOTY MH (Objectives) offers a free alternative.

Premier League Meta level strengths and weaknesses
For once, the strengths of the English championship are very numerous on FIFA 22. First of all, all the positions have at least two or three options that could easily be placed in the top 5-10 of the game (at their respective position). The concentration of talent within a few clubs also allows easy links and league mixing. In addition, the number of DCE is very important, on formations where the players are already basic, rather strong. So even though the prizes are high, the cards are usually very Meta.
Nevertheless, the attractiveness of the league necessarily generates a very high demand and thus high prices. Therefore, the Premier League is complex since the cards are often 30 to 40% more expensive than in other leagues. In addition, as soon as a position is a little limited in option, players are all the more in demand and therefore expensive. This is particularly the case for MDCs but also for BUs. Also, FUT Heroes cards are plentiful but only Keane remains viable in February. Thus, the link aspect is sometimes complicated outside of the big clubs.
Therefore, the Premier League is a premium league, like Ligue 1, due to high prices. Although very popular, this championship is rather reserved for players who are used to trading or playing a lot, in order to be able to finance their team.
How to build good links?
Here, it will be relatively easy to link your formation via the presence of multitudes of Meta players within big clubs (Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Chelsea mainly). In addition, the nations present are (despite a few exceptions) rather large with France, Brazil, England or even Portugal, which again allows the leagues to be mixed.
