Announced for Genshin Impact patch 2.6, which is scheduled for release in early April, Kamisato Ayato is the new character in the game. Chief of the Kamisato clan, and Ayaka's older brother, he possesses a Hydro Divine Eye. But he shares with his sister the arts of the sword, which he uses to defend himself.

Head of the Kamisato Clan of the Cultural Commission in Inazuma, Ayato is a cultured and polite being with many facets. However, he takes no pleasure in political intrigue, even if he masters it. Its sole objective is to maintain prosperity and stability in the region. But he takes full advantage of his rank to organize various cultural events and invite personalities from all over the world.
In battle, he is able to create a watery illusion of himself. I'Kamisato School: Thoughtful Beauty tricks his opponents with a copy of himself. Meanwhile, he is chaining attacks with blinding speed. But'Kamisato School: Water Garden is its true power, creating a huge area that muffles sounds. Within its enclosure, blades of dew fall on its enemies regularly.
