Genshin Impact patch 2.7 is pushed back

Genshin Impact patch 2.7 is pushed back

Update May 19 13:45 p.m. : As Genshin Impact version 2.7 lag compensation continues to be distributed, the patch release date is announced. The latter will be deployed on May 31, with a scheduled 5-hour maintenance. Therefore, patch 2.8 is also pushed back to July 13 so that the patch has time to live.

While the rhythm of an update every 6 weeks was maintained, the next patch will be long overdue. Genshin Impact version 2.7, originally scheduled for May 11, has had its release date pushed back. If no reason has been specified, it is difficult not to link this to the latest anti-COVID measures applied in China.

Notice of Postponement of Version 2.7 Update

For reasons related to the progress of the project, the update to version 2.7 will be postponed.

No new date has been given at this time. The developers intend to make every effort to release this update as soon as possible. Compensation is planned to excuse this delay, and this rather late announcement. Development is ongoing, however, and we will have more information on future events and banners in the future.

While waiting for version 2.7 and its novelties on Genshin Impact, including the two new characters Kuki Shinobu and Yelan, there are still many things to discover in the world. We should therefore probably not expect a new event for a few weeks. And even if the wait may be long, better that than an update released in a hurry.
