Genshin Impact: Aloy arrives in game for patch 2.1

Genshin Impact: Aloy arrives in game for patch 2.1

A new promotional campaign is coming to MiHoYo's gacha for 12 weeks. Starting with the launch of Patch 2.1, Aloy, Horizon's famed Huntress, is available for free to all Genshin Impact players. A new character, certainly, but above all a way for Sony to remind that Horizon Forbidden West is not far away.

How to get Aloy in Genshin Impact?

This particular character is entitled to two distinct acquisition phases. In order to make PlayStation players benefit from the exclusivity, the character is offered to them from the launch of the 2.1 update, until the next patch. Other supports have to wait for patch 2.2 before they can get their hands on Aloy. But PlayStation owners also enjoy a unique arc, the Predator, usable only on these consoles. You also need to have an account at Adventure Level 20 or higher to take advantage of the offer.

  • Phase 1 -
    • From Patch 2.1 (September 1, 2021) to Patch 2.2 (October 13, 2021)
    • Available on PS4 and PS5 only
    • Be at adventure level 20
  • Phase 2 -
    • From Patch 2.2 (October 13, 2021) to Patch 2.3 (November 24, 2021)
    • Available on all platforms
    • Be at adventure level 20

All about the character

Being the first character coming from a universe completely external to MiHoYo, we don't know much about him. Besides its design which does not seem to come from Teyvat, it is a Cryo arc user. She should also enjoy an elemental skill and rampage that appeals to her hunter senses.
