A new event is coming to the game to offer new challenges to complete. The latter will allow you to indulge in contemplation by taking photos, although a little special. The colors of fortune equips you with a daguerreotype, and, with a vague indication, asks you to take 10 photos each day.
Event Dates The Colors of Fortune
The event lasts 10 days, from Wednesday 3 au Saturday 13 February. Certain conditions must be met to participate, however. It is thus necessary to be at adventure level 20 at least and to have completed a specific quest. A new challenge is unlocked every day until day seven, when all challenges are available.
- Start of the event – Wednesday, February 3, 4 a.m.
- End of event – Wednesday, February 10, 3 a.m.
- End of trading – Saturday February 13 3:59

The Colors of Fortune event
To participate in this event, you must first complete the quest "A special shot" which asks you to speak with Jitong in Liyue. The latter then provides you with a special daguerreotype with which you must take photos. But these photos are a little special since they are all monochrome. It's up to you to follow the daily instructions by seeing what the subject of study of the day is and to take 10 different shots. To take a photo, simply equip the daguerreotype and use it in front of a subject. The photo is taken alone after a few seconds of waiting.
Unfortunately, you will have a lot of duplicates, and if you want to open all the chests, you will have to trade. Your friends are therefore there for that, allowing you to exchange snapshots in order to fill your respective collections and unlock all the chests of fortune. You only have 7 days, and therefore 70 negatives, to take pictures. The last 3 days are devoted to exchanges.
Snapshots and rewards
Each day you have 10 negatives to use. The latter thus take on a different hue depending on the photo taken. If you collect the 5 different colors (red, blue, yellow, brown, purple) you can exchange them with Jitong in Liyue. The latter takes a shot of each color for you against a fortune chest. These contain primogems and another unique component.

Pass Quests and Missions
For the Battle Pass two missions are to be expected. These therefore ask you to collect rewards from the event, but also to make an exchange with a friend. So you have to have people to share your photos with.
